Compton College is offering six-week and eight-week summer classes that begin on June 21, and a second six-week session that begins on July 5. The June and July summer sessions provide a perfect opportunity for recent high school graduates to jump-start their college education. There are so many benefits to taking classes during the shorter summer sessions: graduate faster, complete a class requirement, get personalized attention with smaller class sizes, reduce your fall and spring class schedule, and keep your mind fresh!
Summer classes will be offered via in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Several summer class sections offer Zero Cost Textbooks (ZCT) and Open Educational Resources (OER), which give students access to high-quality class materials and books at no cost. Classes offering OER/ZCT are listed in the summer 2022 class schedule with a special symbol. We care about our students and provide financial, academic, and technical support for those in need such as financial aid, tutoring, book vouchers, free parking, free laptop, Wi-fi hotspot loans, and referrals for those with housing insecurity.

Enrollment Services are available in Tartar Village near Parking Lot A (off Artesia Blvd.) by appointment or via walk-in assistance; if you walk in, you may be required to wait so appointments are recommended. Vaccination Requirement for In-Person Classes
Proof of full vaccination status is required for registration in in-person classes.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status must be submitted via the MyCompton website portal by clicking on the tile labeled “COVID-19 Vaccination – Exemption – Test Submission.” Exemption/Accommodation Forms are available.
