Dear 2UrbanGirls,
I see Inglewood has outsourced its Building and Safety department and I’m curious how that is affecting the new housing development at Grace Park off Prairie Ave? A google search will show you how reckless KB Homes are with multiple lawsuits related to building defects.
The three-story buildings do not have any elevators (just staircases) between floors which prevents sales to people with disabilities and no accessibility ramps into the buildings. Isn’t that discriminatory?
Garages are supposed to be a little below grade level and have adequate visitor parking spaces, which seem to be lacking throughout the development. The whole development seems to be designed for young buyers.
Can you please check if any code violations have been issued to the builder? I remember you writing about the city not doing anything about the code violations at a house Mayor Butts purchased.
Thank you, for your consideration and investigation on these possible violations.
