LOS ANGELES- A man shot to death in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles was a Carson resident.
David Odunze was 31 years old, according to the coroner’s office.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at approximately 7:15 p.m. Thursday to the 1100 block of South Main Street, where they found Odunze suffering from gunshot wounds, said LAPD Officer Annie Hernandez.
Witnesses told police the victim was walking along Main when a vehicle drove up to him and fired several shots before driving away in an unknown direction.
Odunze was pronounced dead at the scene, Hernandez said.
It was unknown if the shooter and the victim knew each other.
