VENICE -Nico Ruderman, a candidate for the Assembly 61/62 race, is stepping down from the assembly race and endorsing Lawndale Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles.
Ruderman, a Venice resident who serves on the Venice Neighborhood Council, announced in an email Wednesday that he will not be moving forward with running for the 61st Assembly race this fall– but, instead, is backing Mayor Pullen-Miles.
“We built a campaign and spread our message in a short period,” stated Ruderman. “I participated in several forums, received notable endorsements that I am proud of, grew a fantastic volunteer team for which I am incredibly grateful and spoke to numerous community members.”
