We are currently in a drought, and elected officials continue to approve building permits. WHERE is the water coming from???

Residents are told to save water and to only wash full loads of laundry and to only wash during specific hours for electricity sake.
Homeowners are told to cut down on watering our lawns.
Residents are paying for advertising to remind us of the importance of low flush toilets.
Oh and capture that rainwater for outdoor use – we all need to conserve.
And in our backyard elected officials are gleefully smiling in photo ops as they celebrate billionaires profiting from disregarding environmental concerns (ie water issues) to bring literally hundreds of thousands from all over the United States to flush toilets in mass during sports games…….in the name of entertainment of course. Oh yes there is that glorious “water feature” the man-made lake-like mass of water which evaporates and must be resupplied for more photo impressions.
And then …….we (the year round residents) are asked to pay more for the limited water that we genuinely need to sustain life…..
Isn’t there something wrong with that picture??
Maybe those non-profit billionaire clubs should offset the cost of the water they profited from as fans paid hefty dollars to while drinking beers as they watch their teams battle for a trophy.
Yep this is just one of many concerns we should all have vocalized when the city council chose not to allow the impacted community to vote on the stadium and arena projects.
These entertainment projects are costing residents in an assortment of ways even if we never attend a single event.
When did schools stop teaching that water is a limited natural resource?
It would be great if we could say go to the Inglewood Main Library and learn ….more …..unfortunately the Inglewood Library Board did not see fit to protect that other valuable resource which was the most significant collection south of Wiltshire.
Apparently new carpet and furniture ala the senior center make better photo ops than educational materials.
So perhaps you will have to enrich another Billionaire by ordering books from Amazon to learn about Southern California infrastructure beginnings.
Yep, among the differences made by the Butts Team:
the Library Books went to the Blue Trash bins,
the Youth Programs now are only available for a fee,
and oh yes
how dare your friends Park on the street you paid for with gas tax fees without getting permission from ONE MANchester
