INGLEWOOD – Taste of Inglewood Jazz Festival is set to be a two-day affair August 6 and 7 from 11am – 7pm.
The Permits & Licenses Committee will meet to approve the project, with the public able to call in to give comment on the approval.

Taste of Inglewood is the brainchild of Planning Commissioner David Rice who has successfully grown the event through a strong partnership with the city of Inglewood.
The approval typically includes the City voting to sponsor the event through waiving police fees, and promotion.
The City currently has mutual-aid agreements in place with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Hawthorne Police Department, and CHP, who already provide support for events at the Forum and SoFi Stadium.
The public is never provided details on the final cost to residents.

The event will be held at Centinela Park, most likely at the amphitheatre, where concerts in the past have been held.
Their last event, the Taste of Inglewood Big Game Festival was a three-day affair during Super Bowl weekend. The event was safe and well attended. It was during the festival that the City presented Issa Rae with the key to the city.
Not much else is known about the event at this time, or what the parking plan is, but you can sign up for updates at https://www.tasteofinglewood.com/
