SAN PEDRO – A body was found Monday in the ocean near San Pedro, and an investigation was underway.
The body was discovered shortly before 9 a.m. near the 3700 block of South Stephen M. White Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity or cause of death of the person.
