LOS ANGELES – The coroner Monday released the name of a man who was shot to death while sitting in a vehicle in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
Tinzy Satterwhite was 41 years old.
The shooting was reported at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim identified as Satterwhite was sitting in a parked vehicle when a male suspect approached on foot and fired into the vehicle, Eisenman said. The suspect then ran away.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting was believed to be gang-related, Eisenman said.
