EL SEGUNDO – The man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a Caltrans truck in El Segundo was identified Tuesday by county authorities.
The crash on the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at North Nash Street occurred a little after 8 a.m. Sunday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Artemio Hernandez, 42, was the victim who died in the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the location at 8:28 a.m., where Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene and at least three vehicles, including the Caltrans truck, were involved in the crash, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The CHP issued a Sigalert at 8:20 a.m. closing the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
