NORTH HOLLYWOOD – A man who was killed in a car-to-car shooting in North Hollywood was identified Tuesday, as detectives continued their efforts to solve the crime.
The shooting was reported at 3:30 a.m. Monday in the 6900 block of Fulton Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Erik Brown of North Hollywood, 35, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.
“The victim was driving north on Fulton Avenue from Vanowen Street when he was approached by another vehicle that pulled up alongside and … multiple rounds (were fired), striking the vehicle and the victim,” police said in a statement.
Brown’s car crashed into parked vehicles, and the suspect or suspects fled in a vehicle described only as a gray sedan.
