STANTON – A 68-year-old woman in Stanton was fatally struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, authorities said Saturday.
The vehicle stuck the woman at about 8:45 p.m. Friday, as she was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Dale Street, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was described as small and possibly dark green.
