Two Men Shot Dead in Pomona

POMONA – Two men were killed Wednesday in a shooting in Pomona.

Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 200 block of Ridgeway Street regarding a person lying in the street, said Pomona Police Sgt. Iain Miller.

Police found one man lying in the street suffering from gunshot wounds and another man several yards away, also with gunshot wounds, Miller said.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were called and pronounced both men dead at the scene.

There are no suspects in the shootings and the motive for the killing is also unknown, Miller said.
