PARAMOUNT – Sheriff’s homicide detectives Friday are investigating the death of a man believed to be in his early 20s who was shot and killed in Paramount.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded at 10:58 p.m. Thursday to the 15300 block of Orizaba Avenue, where they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, said Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim, who was in a vehicle when he was shot, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Meza said.
CBS 2 reported detectives were interviewing a woman who may have been in the vehicle with the victim. It was unclear if she witnessed the shooting.
Police said there is no additional information available.
