The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles held a ribbon cutting ceremony March 16 at their Inglewood location.
The center is accessible to the more than 10,000 girl scouts, 3,300 adult members, and will also be accessible to partners in Inglewood, and surrounding communities.
Federal and local dignitaries were on hand to support the opening of the center which will also to partners living in Inglewood, and surrounding communities.

“Congratulations to the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles on the opening of the Inglewood Innovation Center I’m so excited for all of year and I remember joining you three years ago when you opened your doors in Inglewood,” said Congresswoman Maxine Waters via video. “I was so impressed with the services you offer girls in our community, and it’s so appropriate that in this year, your 100th year of serving girls in the Los Angeles area, that you provide this space for girls to discover their strengths.”
The Inglewood Innovation Center features state-of-the-art, hands-on Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) programming and leadership opportunities for girls ages 5-17.
