LONG BEACH – A man was fatally shot Tuesday in Long Beach, and an investigation was underway.
The shooting was reported at about 12:45 a.m. at South Street and Linden Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he died. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
The suspect, described only as a man, ran from the scene and was being sought, police said. The motive for the crime was not known.
