COMPTON – Celestinia Bishop has changed her mind and has decided against selling the cemetery she gained control of late last year.
In a now deleted Facebook live video, she alleged she has been receiving death threats, and being called racial slurs, since she has taken ownership.
She declared on multiple occasions, during the nearly 30 minute video she was selling the property, which she has now backtracked. She also played two recorded conversations during the video to justify her actions to sell.
This author received multiple calls asking for the story to be retracted because Bishop was emotional about the events leading up to the video, and what she said shouldn’t be taken at face value.
Bishop has since filed complaints with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department about the harassing phone calls and threats.
