LOS ANGELES – A woman was killed Saturday evening when she was struck by a vehicle in a Hyde Park crosswalk.
The crash occurred at 7 p.m. at Slauson and Alviso avenues, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. The driver remained at the scene.
It was unclear what factors led to the crash, which was under investigation.
