LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Two men were shot, one fatally, across the street from MacArthur Park Sunday.
The shootings took place around 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Alvarado Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One victim was shot in the chest and died at the scene, LAPD Sgt. Kevin Gruner said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. The other victim was shot in the arm and taken to a hospital.
The motive for the shootings was not known.
No suspect description was immediately available.
