SOUTH EL MONTE – A man was found dead Saturday evening on an off-ramp of the Pomona (60) Freeway in South El Monte.
The body was discovered shortly before 8 p.m. on the Rosemead Boulevard off-ramp from the westbound Pomona Freeway.
Deputies from the Temple sheriff’s station also responded to the scene and told the CHP it appeared the man was a pedestrian and the victim of a hit-and-run crash, Figueroa said.
The man’s identity was not immediately released.
