LOS ANGELES – A man was shot and wounded Tuesday in the south Los Angeles area, and an investigation was underway.
The shooting was reported about 3:35 a.m. near Menlo and Slauson avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. No arrests were reported, and no information was available on a suspect or suspects, police said.
