LOS ANGELES – Two men shot a 41-year-old man to death and wounded a 60-year-old man Sunday morning during a gang-related shooting in the Central-Alameda community of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The two victims were standing on a sidewalk at about 2:15 a.m. in the 5000 block of Alba Street when they were approached by two suspects who fired shots at them, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations division.
The suspects fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle, Eisenman said.
The fatally wounded man was identified as Kender Arreaga Lopez, 41, of Los Angeles.
Paramedics rushed the 60- year-old man to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
