Inglewood Police officers responded to a 9-1-1 call, which led them to the 800 block of Centinela Ave., near Hyde Park Blvd. Residents are concerned that the department is understaffed as the department continues to post farewell messages on their social media channels.
The City continues to actively recruit new officers, and are now offering bonuses for those who lateral from an outside agency.
The department continues to investigate a shooting at an un-regulated short-term rental that left four young people dead.

According to the press release issued from the mayor’s office, the victim answered his door, and was shot through a metal screen.
This morning’s shooting was located in the neighboring vicinity of the Airbnb shooting.
Although witnesses appear to have seen the suspect running away from the apartment, no description has been made available to the public.
The victim succumbed to his injuries en route to UCLA Medical Center. The public is being asked to notify IPD at 310-412-8771 if they have any tips.
