LOS ANGELES – A bystander was wounded in a shooting outside the Hansen Dam Aquatic Center that started with an argument, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was reported at 4:55 p.m. Sunday at 11770 Foothill Blvd., according to a dispatcher with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
A 50-year-old man got into an argument with another person and fired a handgun, hitting a 31-year-old man in the area, the dispatcher said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by paramedics with stable vital signs, she said.
There was no indication that the suspect was arrested, she said.
