SUN VALLEY – A woman was hospitalized after she was shot outside a residence in the Sun Valley area of Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
The shooting was reported at 11:41 p.m. Saturday outside a home on the 12000 block of Saticoy Street, according to Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The 31-year-old woman was outside the residence when a vehicle drove by and someone fired shots at her, Orris said.
Paramedics took the woman to a hospital where she had stable vital signs, he said.
The shooting may have been gang related, Orris said.
