The Inglewood City Council will meet June 21 to enter into a purchase agreement to acquire the Inglewood Swap Meet.
The City Manager’s office is requesting approval of a purchase agreement in the amount $50,000 to enter into a 150 day period to negotiate the purchase from Market Street LLC. The plans also include a 650 space parking structure.
Additionally, the City Manager’s office is requesting approval to pay a $50,000 invoice to HR&A Advisors Inc. for producing a feasibility study on the matter.
The City paid for an appraisal of the property last August.
Neither staff report details where the City will get the $17.5 million from.
