PLAYA DEL REY – Parents of a Black student have filed a lawsuit alleging their son was constantly harassed at a local catholic high school.
A final status conference is scheduled for May 16 where the suit alleges the boy, identified only as John Doe, was called the “N-word,” repeatedly bullied and sexually harassed by other students.
The suit further alleges the boy’s parents had taken him out of another school because of bullying there and that St. Bernard’s administration told them their child would be safe.
Tuition costs are close to $1,000 per month.
