LOS ANGELES – A man crossing a street in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles was fatally hit by a vehicle, police said Thursday.
The man was injured about 11 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Avenue and 51st Street and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who appeared to have been in his 60s, police said.
The motorist remained at the scene and was interviewed by officers. The investigation was continuing.
