INGLEWOOD – Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. continues to [allegedly] dodge a deposition in an ongoing lawsuit filed by his ex-aide Melanie McDade. In the meantime, more details continue to leak from the case that appears to corroborate claims made by McDade that the mayor was retaliating against her out of fear she was intimately involved with another man.
2UrbanGirls is in receipt of a couple of text messages where the mayor [allegedly] acknowledges that women in Inglewood City Hall have too much access to the going on’s in his and McDade’s relationship.
“Sheila should have never been involved with us…she envied my love for you…”
He specifically mentions “Sheila” who is believed to be the sister of the City’s redevelopment agency attorney Royce K. Jones. Sheila was given a managerial role in the City’s information technology department, along with a six figure salary.
McDade previously recalled being “yelled at and reduced to tears” on the 9th floor, with no one coming to her assistance. The text messages appear to corroborate who was doing the yelling and why.
The text messages also reference “Cinder” who is believed to be a member of the Inglewood Police Department’s homeless outreach team.
City Hall insiders allege one of Cinder’s family members is working in the finance department, while another family member is alleged to be in business with the mayor.
Time will tell if the mayor will sit down for his deposition, or drag this out until after November elections.

No NO NOOO Jimmie did not carve a community out of barren land inspire thousands to build the community that thrived LONG BEFORE HE WAS EVEN BORN!
Repulsive as the affair is, Disgusting as is ego trip and need for adulation is, Revolting as the complete selling our community for photo ops is, – oh my – oh my – oh my.
We know as a baby boomer even those without fathers at home had the tv Dads for guidance to tackle the issues of “family values”- that one wife thing, the many “you should nots” lie, cheat, steal, along with those treat others they way you want to be treated, be kind to one another, and the do your best to live with honor expectations.
How is it this one man has thrown each of these concepts in the shredder?
His daughter’s choosing violence to settle a land lord concern displays his lack of parental leadership and yet he believes he is symbolically the Father of the City?
Isn’t it more like the symbol of every quality no parent wants their child to emulate?

There are those who will say we shouldn’t care about this “lovers quarrel”. .indeed if OUR MONEY and OUR QUALITY OF LIFE was not compromised this would be just another abusive married man treating the woman he is having an affair with like a piece of machinery to be used when and the way he wants until he is ready for a newer model.
But it was OUR MONEY he used to reward her, and OUR SERVICES that were cut back or eliminated.
OUR CHILDREN and OUR SENIORS did without so he could keep his mistress available.
(Yes mistress since he is still legally married.)
Consider how much that evaluation text is discussing her one year salary/benefit package went from $385,948.79 to $458,046.32..Don’t believe it ?. Look it up yourself at Ca State Controllers Office or Transparent California.
Did that not register as a bit much ? How about a simple comparison –
in these ROE v. WADE debate days those nine Supreme Court Justices will make less than half of that low-end year. Yes the Chief Justice will be making $177,700.00.

Yes jimmy voted as if it wasn’t a conflict of interest for his ????shall we be kind and say honey??? to receive compensation nearly TWO (2) Times MORE THAN THE FOUR STARS GENERALS !!
But now let’s not give a free pass to David Esparza our financial wizard, or Artie Fields the City Manager, or the Human Resource Director they all played apart in allowing our money to be used to keep JT BUTTS love interest close by….Until…. she said no more… and then…they together went along with suddenly declaring her what was it guilty of misrepresentation….?
Some might say she spent so much time with the master deceiver, withholder of public information, that the daily-ness of falsifying truth became well routine.
My oh my someone needs to share this with all dating females…..beware the man who thinks he can buy you(r) favor with title, salary, perks……..Anyone who carries on like this has no idea what love is no matter how many times they use the word.
End the relationship as soon as these behaviors surface go to college/gain marketable skills and remain your own person until you encounter someone who is not a control creep.
