COMPTON – Some Compton residents went to their mailbox to find a nondescript envelope inside courtesy of former Mayor Aja Brown.
The envelope contained a $10 bill and a one page document connecting the money to a previous online survey the receiver took through the Compton City Development Corporation led by Aja Brown. If participants complete the survey, they will receive an additional $50.

State records don’t show a Compton City Development Corporation as being registered.
Those who previously took the Wellness Study are believed to have been accepted into the Compton Pledge, which was hailed as the nation’s largest universal basic income program. The program is spearheaded through the daughter of the owner of the Los Angeles Times.

Compton City Development Corporation used to be Compton Empowered. Same EIN number. Understand the premise though. Thinks everyone in Compton can be bought with just a little bit of your own money. And guess what? There have been so many Compton sell-outs, why wouldn’t she. Look for the endgame though. There always is one and it will be about making money—for them. Wait for it…
