The city of Inglewood has approved major curb and street improvements along Centinela Ave. using funds from Senate Bill 1 and Measure M. During the regular city council meeting held August 10, Councilman Alex Padilla explained the project would stretch from LaCienega Blvd. to Florence Ave, with the entire street being dug up, adding a center median, and also much needed curb repairs.
The construction will have a HUGE impact on commute times, and will interfere with businesses operating along the corridor, and residents driving to and from their homes.
Residents can expect to see additional traffic in residential areas, as well as LaBrea Ave., Beach, Eucalyptus, and other surrounding streets, as residents attempt to navigate the construction. The city hasn’t approved any contracts related to advertising the construction on any of the numerous digital billboards found throughout the city.
Pearl Media LLC is responsible for securing advertising on the billboards, and have made generous campaign contributions to the mayor’s 2022 re-election campaign account.
Construction is expected to last one year.

Almost had to laugh ……think of resident imposition……that was rich.
Butts and Co would much rather the advertising is for things you can not buy or do in Inglewood.
Lost Small Businesses, Horrid Traffic, More Taxes Inconvenienced Residents …..IT is the BUTTS WAY
Does the Butts selected council believes they can do as they wish, because they think we are afraid to speak up?
Look at the campaign statement to see if you can figure out who he really is working for ….
…. so you don’t want street upgrades? and that’s supposed to be better? do you actually drive on these roads? confused with the amount of drivel spewing.
