The CalPro Union calls for the termination of the Senior Inglewood Unified School District administrator who lied about broken School buses after failing to contract out the Transportation Department.
If a member of Union did anything close to this they would be fired.
Therefore, if IUSD attempts any moves to terminate our members keep this in mind. It is called disparate treatment.
This employee, attempted to contract out the Transportation department and when that was unsuccessful, he falsely stated the all the bus were broken and closed down the department.
The Union was able to prove solid evidence from the CHP that all the buses were in proper working order.
It is very clear that IUSD improperly attempted to eliminate the Transportation the department.
This action was a clear retaliatory action against union members.
IUSD bus drivers provide critical service to special education students, using fly by night companies, serious undermines the essential connection between the driver and these students.
We hear that the employee is not supervising Transportation. This minor change does not make up for the trauma the action IUSD attempted. This attempt caused stock waves throughout the ranks of all classified.
Was he demoted, was his titled changed, was his pay lower?
NO!
The removal from these duties, is a disingenuous action by IUSD that does not clear the District of the improper and clearly false statements.
Transportation drivers are due wages when Inglewood Unified improperly contracted out to outside bus companies.
The Union has filed a grievance and Unfair Labor Practice Charge with the Labor Board to resolve this matter.
Thank you for your time.
