Claims are typically a precursor to a lawsuit.
Inglewood routinely rejects most claims filed against the city, however, some claims are approved on a case by case basis by Inglewood’s Claims Review Committee, that don’t exceed $7500.
”Inglewood has enough money to pay Mayor Butts’ mistress over 340k per year, but can’t spare money for this young man’s family,” said Jess Lewis. “Shame on this city.”
The City has since installed exterior cameras along the outside of the gymnasium.
This is the second claim filed against the city alleging safety issues in the city’s parks.
