Dear 2UrbanGirls,
If you really want to know how much money the city of Inglewood “have” or “do not have”, ask for their Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) For Year Ending June 30, 2020.
Since Inglewood is on an October 1st fiscal year. So the report would be for the year ending September 30. A search of their website shows a “draft” for the year ending September 30, 2018, which means the City does not truly know how much money it really has.
Remember, Treasurer Wanda Brown sharing in one of her reports you published, that the city can manipulate the budget but NOT the CAFR?

What about the budget for Inglewood Unified School District? They are spend money on buses while they state they are all broken. CHP reports show they are in working conditions. THE BIG LIE!
What is a lie? Are you talking about senior and handicapped buses or Inglewood union school district buses? Buses for seniors where purchased through state grant funds. Not city budget.
There is a more recent one, year ending September 30, 2019, that shows a $150 million deficit.
