The Faith Community Coalition, in partnership with Logos Faith Development LLC, will begin hosting a series of Town Hall discussions centered around living in a post-COVID world and its impacts on their respective ministries.
Flourishing After The Pandemic will feature guest speakers discussing navigating in a world with new restrictions and guidelines that are affecting our everyday life.
The series begins February 24 with Dr. Sidney Williams, a noted pastor and financier, leading a discussion on how to grow and fund ministry in a post-pandemic world.
“The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way churches will operate going forward and those churches that are not prepared for change will get left behind and fail,” said Dr. Williams. “I will bring usable information to the faith-based community on how to “fish differently,” so that our churches will thrive in the “new normal.”
Dr. Williams served as a Senior Pastor in Cape Town, South Africa, Dr. Williams currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Bethel Church of Morristown in Northern New Jersey. He also serves on several nonprofit boards and is an Independent Director of Valley National Bancorp (NASDAQ:VLY). He is passionate about equipping believers and non-believers in the area of community transformation and impact investing. In addition to teaching in several seminaries, Dr. Williams is the co-founder and Chief Executive office of the Crossing Capital Group.
Dr. Williams is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and completed his undergraduate studies in finance at Howard University. After a brief career on Wall Street, Dr. Williams earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Wesley Theological Seminary and subsequently a Doctorate in Ministry degree from Payne Theological Seminary.
Dr. Williams currently serves as pastor of the Bethel Church in Morristown, New Jersey.
