Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. has extended the shutdown of city hall until February 1, 2020. Butts continues to insist that employees, and elected officials, are required to submit verification of COVID-19 tests to Human Resources before they are allowed to re-enter the building.
“We are concerned that the city isn’t reporting the many confirmed positive tests that employees have reported,” said an employee who wished to remain anonymous. “Is this the real reason why city hall is closed. Because of an outbreak that we’re being kept in the dark about?”
