Here is the latest.
Gloria Gray, President of West Basin and Chairwoman of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, continues to promote herself at the expense of taxpayers.
After raising our water rates, the West Basin water board voted to spend $30,000 to join the California African American Water Education Foundation and then put out a press release about it.
This group was only formed last year!?! It so happens that two of West Basin’s board members are both on the board of CAAWEF: Gloria Gray and Harold Williams. The organization was founded by the late Gwen Moore.
The agenda item was approved July 27th and if you view the meeting, you will also see the Board censured Director Carol Kwan for reporting she was sexually harassed of which the accuser only received a slap on the wrist.

The minutes seem to show = They agree to have more training but then censure the person who brought up the need for the training………I guess we will soon have to pay for this lawsuit
