LYLWL Street Love Community Event to benefit Watts residents

Residents of Watts are in for a sweet treat courtesy of Living Your Life Without Limits (LYLWL) on Saturday, August 29, in conjunction with Baskin Robbins and MVP Law Group.

LYLWL Street Love Community Event is all about giving back, educating, motivating, elevating and inspiring people to essentially ‘Live Your Life Without Limits.

“It is my mission is to help and serve others,” said event creator and host Shannon Jackson.  “This wellness event was designed with Watts residents in mind who are feeling the impact of COVID-19.”

The first 50 participants will receive two FREE scoops of ice cream, courtesy of event partner Baskin & Robbins, hand sanitizer, masks and Jackson’s signature ‘Wellness Box’ containing a variety of goodies.

Jackson is recognized as a ‘Life Coach for the Covid-19 Era,’ and as a Registered Nurse, with a multi-faceted career in healthcare, she thrives in helping people to get past their struggles with uncertainty, loneliness, depression and anxiety through her widely embraced podcast LYLWL, where she further talks about her return from a two-month ‘tour of duty’ in New York’s Covid-19 hospital wards.
Jackson witnessed first-hand the pandemic’s effect on people from all walks of life and especially how the outbreak has challenged people’s mental wellness which inspired her ‘Wellness Box’ containing a multitude of necessities designed to assist with your mental well-being.
Through Jackson’s repurposed mission, from nurse to inspirational speaker, podcast host and community philanthropist, she turns her newly amassed platform into a devout calling for reaching more people.

This event will take place at the Baskin & Robbins located at 1629 E. 103rd Street from 12:00pm-2:00pm and will feature live performances by Rush Tha Visionary and comedy Larry Lala.
