The family of Robert Fuller are demanding answers surrounding the death of the 24-year-old who was found hanging from a tree adjacent to Palmdale City Hall. The Antelope Valley, which consists of Adelanto, Lancaster and Palmdale is known for racial tensions that is targeted towards the minority residents.
The city of Palmdale held a press conference today where the community showed up in support of the Fuller family. One woman described driving her children to school and seeing Confederate Flags in some people’s yards.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has preliminarily ruled Fuller’s death a suicide.
No pictures have been shared of the crime scene, however, the coroner listed as Dr. Jonathan Lucas has previously worked for the County of San Diego and New York City in compatible positions.
The Antelope Valley, in its entirety, is a hotbed of racial tension from nearby Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris infamous targeting of families who owned pit bulls and his desire to shut down the Metrolink stop to keep the homeless out of his city.

In the case of the United States v. Antelope Valley it was found the entire region was violating fair housing laws by discriminating against residents who received Section 8.

Last September a noose was found hanging in Palmdale High School. So for City Manager J.J. Murphy to suggest residents stop calling Fuller’s death a “lynching” he is obviously ignoring the pattern of racial bias in his city.
Three months later a Palmdale teacher was placed on administrative leave, for the SECOND TIME, for using racial slurs against Latino residents.
The elected officials in the city of Palmdale, and throughout the Antelope Valley region, need sweeping reforms and current laws to address the racism that continues to permeate and taunt the community.
By immediately rushing to a conclusion that Fuller committed suicide, while deflecting to the coroner, enables the community to interpret today’s press conference as meaningless and without merit.
Murphy should have detailed what was found at the scene, provided photos and/or a summary of the coroner’s findings to share with the public.
Two years ago in the city of Inglewood, a male was found hanging from a tree inside of the Inglewood Park Cemetery. Mayor Butts identified him as Latino and shared he died at the hospital, after alleged attempts to resuscitate him, however, images show Inglewood Police officers and fire department officials making no obvious attempts to assist the unidentified man.
A review of the coroners website, for the date in question, do NOT list the cause of death for ANY Latino male who died on that day, in the hospital, as suicide. The three Latino’s listed who died that day show a cause of death of either a heart problem and two died from meth overdoses.
The Coroner did identify Robert Carp, a Caucasian male that died that day and his death was ruled a suicide by hanging.
The family of Robert Fuller have made no public comments, as of this story publishing, but has managed to raise $160,000 on the premise that his death was a lynching. Investigators are attempting to speak with them to learn more about Fuller as videos continue circulating about him on social media.
Palmdale has an obvious racism problem they need to stop ignoring and an organized march by activists and community members is scheduled for Saturday, June 13th.

Ooops didn’t know that about the Antelope Valley. Bought my third brand new home in 2003 in Palmdale. Never had a problem. Got really sick and had to sell now living with my youngest daughter who purchased a home in Lancaster 1.5 years ago. Again no problem and my grandsons were all going to Rancho Vista elementary school and no problem. No two are going there and the other three are in two schools in Lancaster. No problem. Keep praying that Jehovah God keep his angels hovering over my grandsons and keep them safe.
