Letter to the Editor: Inglewood Residents are Dying After City Evicted Them

Dear 2UrbanGirls,

Felecia Jackson used to live at 4949 W. Century Blvd before being evicted by the city of Inglewood. YOU helped us uncover that the city are the TRUE OWNERS of this property. After Felecia was evicted she was forced to live in an extended stay motel.

Her son and his family moved with her.

Due to the stress of being evicted, for no fault of her own, other than the city wanting their property back, she endured more stress going through the court process having to sue Warren Properties (management company) and the city for ongoing bed bug issues.

We attended a memorial for Felecia today. People are literally dying from what the city is doing. Please continue to share the other residents stories.
