
The city of Compton has a full council agenda planned for tomorrow. They are expected to finalize re-establishing the city’s American Express (AMEX) account, and approve a five year contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The city is expected to renew the contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department for an additional five years, throughout FY 2023-24.

Leisa’s public administration experience includes California State and County agency experience; she served as the Clerk/Executive Officer and Administrative Services Manager at the Court of Appeal and County of Santa Clara; respectively, with oversight of centralized multi-department operations, including human resources programs and services and fiscal and administrative services. She also worked in higher education with El Camino Community College as Director of Staff & Student Diversity with the responsibility for issues of equity and compliance. Leisa was appointed by the California State Bar Board of Governors and served from 2011-2015 on the Judicial Nominee Commission, which on behalf of the California Governor, evaluates attorneys and judges for consideration for appointment to the bench or elevation from the trial court bench to the appellate court bench. Leisa has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, a Paralegal Certificate and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. “
