As the financial seams of the Lennox School District continues to unravel more allegations are surfacing about the former superintendent having relations with other male staffers.
Former Superintendent Kent Taylor faced scrutiny over a virtual academy he started in conjunction with neighboring Catholic Schools. 2UrbanGirls has reached the Catholic Archidocese spokesperson, Adrian Alarcon, who refused to comment on whether the schools needed the permission of the archdiocese to “leverage” students in exchange for laptops.
2UrbanGirls first reported on the nefarious relationship between Taylor and the district’s public informaiton officer, Devon Dean, who filed a lawsuit against the district and Taylor after Taylor’s untimely death.

District records show Dean was bestowed an excessive salary, plus overtime, while traveling with Taylor.
2UrbanGirls then received a letter to the editor titled “Letter to the Editor: Overtime Abuse Continues in Lennox School District ” that implied a member of the district’s financial office was continuing to bill outrageous amounts of overtime, despite the dire financial condition of the district.
There was documented abuse of the district’s credit cards and questionable contracts awarded to vendors.
In response, the district has taken measures to drastically cut all programs implemented under Taylor’s administration. Many of the positions being eliminated were identified as being staffed by political operatives of current and former school board members.

There is now growing allegations and innuendo that Taylor was involved with a member of the financial office who continues to bill overtime.
It is becoming more obvious that many members of the community were aware of Taylor’s sexuality and dalliances with members of his staff and were possibly extorting him, via Lennox School District funds, to keep his secret.
With a wife and children at home it is highly likely.
2UrbanGirls reached out to several Lennox School District board members who refused to comment.
