Former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed has kept a relatively low profile since leaving office and while dodging a federal investigation. Reed was recently spotted celebrating the birthday of the wife of RnB singer Tyrese. Reed’s rise and fall made headlines as many members of his administration have been convicted, and his brother is back in the spotlight after another city official plead guilty.

    Where was the scrutiny from investigators when the man was actually the Mayor? Or is it just easier to prosecute folks when they’re no longer in public office?
