Inglewood, CA — From the Heart Preschool (FTH), the only S.T.E.A.M Early Education School in Inglewood will be celebrating its 20th year anniversary on November 1, 2019, at 4 PM at 1061 E. Hyde Park Boulevard in Inglewood, California.
In honor of our 20th year as a pillar in the community, we are inviting our community leaders, neighbors and local schools to join us at our Harvest Festival. We will have live music, food, and plenty of fun activities for the children, including face painting, a ferris wheel, costume contests, and more. There will also be a prize awarded to the attendee with the best costume. Scheduled to attend is District 2’s Councilman Alex Padilla and the Mayor of Inglewood James T. Butts Jr.
Founder and Director, Betty Luckett first opened From The Heart Preschool in November 1999 in. Since then, FTH has provided the underserved communities of South Los Angeles and Inglewood with educational opportunities designed to empower young learners to investigate, explore, and discover the world around them. One of the first schools in the South Los Angeles area to offer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) programming, FTH combines best practices and techniques to help build young learners’ confidence and support school readiness. “Our rich curriculum encourages learning through play and social interaction, and our staff takes an integrative approach to teaching,” says the Director of FTH.
