Today local SEIU 721 held its endorsement meeting for L.A. County Supervisor. Union members in attendance represented L.A. City and L.A. County clerical employees.
Members aren’t happy with Sen. Holly Mitchell. Members discussed how she only remembers the union when she wants something. Members also reminded their fellow union members how Mitchell makes them wait, for extensive amounts of time, before she speaks to them.
“Bourgeios” is a name they used to describe her to 2UrbanGirls.
Not much discussion on former L.A. City City Councilwoman Jan Perry.
Members resoundingly approved L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson who was noted as being a “person of his word” and someone who “gets the job done”.

Lennox residents have been VERY vocal of their displeasure of Mark Ridley-Thomas’ office. That needs to change with new leadership.
