New Details from Deposition re: MSG v City of Inglewood

The NY Daily News has published excerpts from a deposition taken from James Dolan, Chairman of Madison Square Garden (MSG) who also owns the Forum in the city of Inglewood. Details reveal residents, and the Department of Finance, were misled on the amount spent to renovate the Forum and Dolan claims he knows very little of his Inglewood operations.

Dolan claims to not know Marc Little. Doesn’t know the city’s redevelopment agency loaned his company $18 million towards renovating the Forum. MSG only spent $40 million renovating the Forum, not $100 million as Mayor James Butts claimed.

He doesn’t know they don’t have to pay any of the $18 million back. He also doesn’t know if his company is paying for lawsuits, spearheaded by Inglewood School Board member D’artganan Scorza, under the name Uplift Inglewood.
