The mother of Nipsey Hussle’s 10-year-old daughter Emani has accused the late rapper’s family of removing her from the apartment he once covered for her and leaving nothing to her following his death.
Foster has had to rely on friends and family for financial support since his untimely death on March 31.
The Blast obtained court documents that revealed Tanisha Foster filed a motion in the guardianship case of Emani Asghedom.
Her move is in opposition to a joint guardianship petition filed by Nipsey’s sister, brother and mother which Foster is against. Foster also states she does’t have the financial means to support herself or her daughter after exclusively relying on cash given to her by the late rapper.

Hussle’s mother, brother and sister have stepped up to petition the court to continue caring for his daughter due to her mothers own admission that she is unable to provide for either of them.
I strongly oppose both of the petitions filed by Samantha Alexandria Smith, Samiel Asghedom and Angelique Smith,’ Foster said.
I am the mother of Emani Asghedom and there is no good reason my rights as her mother should be taken away from me, or otherwise reduced as her mother.
Foster also asserted that she never saw a ‘court order ever taking Emani away from me; or any court order that indicates that is not in her best interest to have me in her life.
When he suddenly died, I came home one day to discover that the locks had been changed. His family is not willing to pay the rent. I am still in the process of putting all of my personal belongings into a storage facility,’ she said.
‘If everyone was truly interested in doing what is best for Emani, they would treat me as her mother and not in the manner that they have,’ she said to wrap things up.
The situation will be addressed at a hearing next week.
