Inglewood Unified State Administrator Announces Retirement

Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) State Administrator Thelma Melendez de Santa Ana has announced her retirement effective October 1, 2019. Here replacement will be Deputy Superintendent Dr. Erika Torres. Torres will be the 5th administrator to serve IUSD since the state took over in 2012. Her predecessors were Kent Taylor, Dr. Don Brann, LaTanya Kirk-Carter and Melendez.
