Another high ranking executive with the Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) has announced their resignation from the embattled district.
Nora Roque, Executive Director of Human Resources, sent out an early morning missive yesterday, saying her last day will be October 31st.
Roque’s announcement comes days after state appointed administrator, Thelma Melendez de Santa Ana, announced her retirement date effective October 1st.
Sources from neighboring school districts share with 2UrbanGirls that there is a LOT of infighting inside IUSD as they work with the LA County Office of Education to prepare to sell district owned property.

The Citizen Advisory Committee is charged with assisting with selection of potential sites that would be offered for either lease and/or sale. Many of the members have close ties to Inglewood Mayor James Butts. The committee hasn’t met at all during FY 2018-19.
