2UrbanGirls has obtained a copy of a tersely written letter to a Compton resident from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The letter was read publicly during the regular Compton City Council meeting yesterday evening.
The letter is written by an attorney, representing the foundation, due to posts shared in the Eye Witness News in Compton (EWNIC) Facebook group. The post alleged that Compton Councilwoman Janna Zurita and her sister, Compton School Board Trustee Satra Zurita were not being transparent with their annual Breast Cancer Walks.
The foundation alleges the resident manipulated an email to give the appearance the sisters were not donating proceeds to Susan G. Komen raised from various businesses in the city of Compton.
2UrbanGirls is unaware of who the letter is addressed to as they are not members of the EWNIC Facebook group. 2UrbanGirls has removed all references of the post in question from the group.
