2UrbanGirls received an inquiry from a resident in Inglewood’s District 3. Inglewood residents are more fed up with the public allegations of corruption against this current council than you can imagine.

Hi, I wanted to ask if you ever posted guest commentary. I got into a heated argument with Eloy Morales on my street regarding his indiscretions and he categorically said he didn’t know what I was talking about. This was the DA’s investigation into amounts he had accepted, and a few other things I brought up. At the end he said, “Democracy is every four years.” I wanted to write about structural violence in our community and its link to corruption. My friend Lynette Lewis said one of the women related to the 2 urban girls used to work for City Hall. I mention this because you seem to have a first-hand perspective on the terrible cancer of corruption at City Hall. Best
This blog can’t remind you enough that these councilmembers are up for re-election next year. Does anyone know what district former mayoral candidate Joseph Soto lives in?
